I'm sure we're all well aware of this by now, but I was curious what approach people are taking.  I for one am taking it seriously and just nominating things I think really deserve it.  I have a feeling, however, that many may just nominate randomly so they can get the XP/badge for doing so.  Evidence for this kind of behaviour is already plentiful: http://steamed.kotaku.com/the-funniest-steam-award-nominations-1789327396
