Old display and new gpu

Can i connect my old display  http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?session=20061005044552_84.177.75.219&scy=GB&mode=search&ctn=107P50%2F00&ds=107P50%2F00&slg=ENG&searchtext=107S5&submit.x=0&submit.y=0&qslg=on  that only has a cable that is locked in case and on the other side is a vga 15 pin  with a gtx 1060 (gigabyte 3gb windforce )  using this convertor  http://www.emag.ro/adaptor-hdmi-tata-la-vga-fara-mufa-jack-audio-168-012/pd/D9QC63BBM/ ?                   If not , can i somehow connect a vga to this gpu ( 2 dvid dual link , hdmi and  display port 1.4)  i know that vga is analogue and  hdmi , dvid  is digital so the signal need conversion .

i already bought my pc and i had a good display but somehow it broke and now for 1-2 month i need to use this until i have the money for another 120 hertz display

Id get a displayport to vga, but it will work

If it has the right connectors yeah it should work. I hooked up an old vga monitor to my modern i5 PC and it worked just fine.
