New pc build 5.0

My fifth design of this build. The budget is 550 or less US dollars, it is currently about 500 which is just fine. I have a 250 gb SSD already. I want to play Minecraft and Just Cause 3 on medium/semi-high settings 30-60 fps on a 1440x900 60hz monitor. Can this build do that? Any better parts for the price? I wish to over clock the cpu, is the hyper 212 good enough?

You need to have a certain BIOS revision in order to do it, and it's only the base clock at that.

In that case, without OC will the CPU bottleneck the GPU?

The BIOS revision needs to be a certain type as well. After a certain revision, the microcode gets updated on the CPU to prevent overclocking of any sort.

In most scenarios, no.

Still not convinced if the newer BIOS changed the CPU microcode, and the required revision doesn't.

I think you could replace the ARCTIC cooler with a Hyper 212 Evo. It'll save you some money.

I cant, pcpartpicker wont list it with the compatibility filter on. Help?

I think it's because of the height. The case may not have enough space for it.

Here's the thing: I looked up the Evo's height, and it's 6.26", whereas Xion claims their case can support up to a 6.5" cooler. Not sure why PCPartPicker wouldn't allow for that in the compatibility area.
