Hi guys and gals,

I am currently upgrading my setup and I need more cables for my monitors, and since the I/O aren't matching my GPU (I'm getting 3 IPS 1080P monitors on sale in black friday but they only have HDMI,DVI-D and VGA) and my GPU is the Rx-480 which has 1 DVI-D, 1 HDMI and 3 DisplayPort

I was wondering which brand of cables should I get my DisplayPort to HDMI or DisplayPort to DVI-D? (Im more looking at trusted cable brands but I don't want to pay those stupid expensive cables)

For 1080p you could just get DisplayPort to HDMI adapters/cables and stick with HDMI inputs on all your monitors.

Here's an example, AmazonBasics Displayport to HDMI cable: http://amzn.to/2gnSThu (6feet) or http://amzn.to/2fZzG8X (3feet)  and there's also mini DisplayPort to HDMI if your card actually has mini DisplayPort here http://amzn.to/2gp2ecn

There's also 10feet and 15 feet cables, may want longer cables for 3 monitor configurations, especially if your system is on the side of the desk.

I don't see any point in using DVI anymore, it won't do better than hdmi or displayport at 1080p.
