PASSSWORD FORGOT PHONE

I forgot my phone Password on my lg v20 but I still have fingerprint. However it is not allowing me to use my Fingerprint. Helppppppppp.

Power down phone.

While holding volume down, turn phone on and hold both buttons until you see LG logo. Release power button for 1 sec and continue to hold volume. Repress power button and hold both until you see factory reset screen.
