That's what I was saying, to pursue the enemy on the left.

And It still depends on a lot of factors. A cheap watercooler on sale in my area comes around 10 bucks more than a decent air cooler like the Hyper 212 Evo with an extra PWM fan attached. Ever considered aesthetics?

So much drama in this topic.

Yes 120mm cooler that you asked about (Lepa) is not that bad and will do it's work for your i5 6600k. You will be able to overclock it a bit, but not too much.

If you will leave CPU at stock, there won't be any problems, and you are looking at max 60°C temp on CPU at stock settings with that cooler.

Yes 120mm AIOs aren't the best idea for insane overclocking, but can handle some medium OC just fine.

Some guys had drama here because cheap and water cooling aren't always put together well. In your case, that AIO is kinda cheap and will do just fine.

But to make custom water loop for cheap money ... never a good idea. It will usually cost 400€ or more to have custom loop for CPU and GPU (basicly 360mm kit for 350€, GPU block for 100€ and additional 2 fittings for 10€ ... all from EKWB). That would be basic for custom water loop. If you want a decent one that won't leak and will perform good.

So if you don't plan to overclock your i5 6600k, go with that 120mm AIO. It is more than capable of cooling your CPU.

If you might OC it in the future, go for it anyway.

But if you are looking to OC that CPU to 1,4V and 4,7GHz ... well that won't work with this AIO.

I hope you got answer that you were looking for.
