please help me with compatibility

The recent FTW models have had some issues check with your store that they have the newer cards in stock before buying. The gpu will work with that board. The cpu however no its a 1151 socket and the board ony supports 1155 so find a different board that supports a 1151 cpu.

ill start by saying I'm a computer novice

 

basically I'm currently looking to upgrade my pcs graphics card and cpu to a EVGA GTX 1070  FTW and i5 6600k 3.5GHZ socket 1151

but i have no clue if these parts will be compatible with my motherboard GA-B75M-D2V

every z170 mainboard can fit this cpu.... i personally am upgrading to kinda the same stuff but a galax 1070 hof because im aming on a white build... i personally gonna buy a asus sabertooth z170 s,,, its a bit pricy but its got a white plate so perfect for me

I have a  generic  500w pcu so in other words everything apart from the case needs to go because I also wanted a ssd
