Prime with Chromecast

Hey guys,

 

I'm going to order Amazon Prime soon, so I was just curious if it is possible to download videos upfront and watch them offline, so I can game whilst my friends are watching a movie. 

 

Is there any chance to do this either with Chromecast or the Fire TV stick?

You can use screen mirroring but it's not great unless your wifi is really good.

Depends if your video player app has chromecast capability built in.

If so, this is your best option.

If not, use screen mirroring.

I tried using chromecast to stream the Grand Tour on my Samsung Galaxy tablet I could never get the Amazon Instant Video app to stream fullscreen properly. It seem to only broadcast in 6:4 ratio. It does not appear Amazon apps have chromecast support built in.
