The only thing I can add to that is to be more careful in the future

I don't think it got on the motherboard, but when I tried blowing it out I was worried some would land on it.

Then what did you get it on? Also i do think that should be fine to turn on your PC after wiping it blowing it out with a can of air.

It's all good now. Just took the ram & gpu out and cleaned the connectors thoroughly. Runs fine. Thanks for the help.
