Hello, everyone!

I'm a very frustrated by this, hope one of you can help.

When playing online games, recently in my case it has been me and my friend's farm simulator server, I get quick lag spikes up to 160ms, then shooting back down to 40-50. Now these last maybe a second, but they happen every other 3-4 seconds, sometimes they take longer. Certain times, my network adapter will completely disconnect, forcing me to exit, reconnect, very frustrating. This is not the servers fault, happens on all sorts of other games, servers, even twitch streams. Also, other devices such a Xbox and PlayStation on my network are completely golden. Their ping is flawless and never lags.

Network adapter - Netgear WNA3100

This problem also happens with another adapter I have, a smaller crappier one, leading me to believe its something with my PC. If my PC specs are needed I will list them.

Virus scan by webroot also picked up nothing.

And no, I don't want to re-install windows.

Thanks, Tame Cat.

That's what happens when you use wifi. It's wireless communication. Windows is also pretty bad at handling low quality wifi connections, so this makes sense.

My native language is C++
