Note 2 refuses to lock onto GPS

Whenever I try to lock onto GPS to go to a destination is just eternally keeps searching while only giving me a vague placement of where I am. I've tried to use the GPS fix apps and it made it triangulate a bit better but it still won't fully lock on.
