Make sure you have the plug the whole way in (hehe). Have you been listening to music/games really loud recently? Is it with certain programs or everything?

it is set from the manufacturer but i believe it can change over time

Not sure if srs.

Impedance is the resistance of the speaker. Typically ranging from 2, 4 (these are more for subwoofers) 8 or 16 Ohm, though 32 Ohm isn't uncommon either. You should check the output impedance of the amp and the impedance of the speakers. Ideally they should be matching, however if you're running more speakers than the head unit was designed to power, depending on the wiring of the speakers and the impedance of the speakers, you could potentially balance it out correctly. This will require wiring them either in series or parallel, but that will depend on the speakers and amp. If the impedance is wrong, it may still work, though it will put undue stress on your amp and/or speakers.

Can you make a diagram of your speaker setup? It sounds honestly a little janky, and there may be other sources of your issue rather than a simple fix.
