Picking a Hackintosh Card

Hi

 

I have to be honest, I can't quite figure out which card is the fastest based on model numbers.. I have built a Hackintosh, all works fine. I currently have a EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti and I dual boot into Windows for gaming. Can anyone tell me, from this list: https://www.tonymacx86.com/buyersguide/november/2016#Graphics_Cards which card would be faster then the card I currently have and if possible a ballpark figure by how much ?

Anything from the 960 will be more powerful

Anything higher than a 750ti... as for benchmarks, don't know and cant find out, due to the fact that its running mac os the cards will run worse than on windows, and no one benchmarks for mac os

The 960 is kind of hit or miss, its great for a budget build as long as you get the 4gb version, I would recommend anything 970 or above.

They are ordered in order of speed - lowest speed at the top, highest speed at the bottom. I would go for a GTX 970 if I was you. According to UserBenchmark, that is a 187% increase (so almost triple).

GTX 970 - $270 or so

 

GTX 980 - $500 or so

 

GTX 980ti - $600 or so

 

GTX Titan X - $1900 or so

 

Keep in mind that all the prices of those cards are very high for their value because they are no longer in production

I bought my GTX 970 used for $150 and it works in OSX if that's what you're looking for, however you're not supposed to talk about Hackintoshing on this forum as Apple makes it illegal to install OSX on non-Apple hardware.
