Hey so today i was at my friends house and we were at his pc that i have built with him about one and a half months ago. I opened his task manager and saw that his pc used 3/8Gb of his ram. For me that was suspicious because he has a 2x8GB DDr4 Ram kit from G.Skill. So I also chgecked the BIOS and there were only 8GB of RAM aswell. So then i switched the RAM slots for his pc and all of the sudden we got no video signal from his IGPU ( has no graphics card yet , will get one at christmas). Then we changed the slots again and now we got no Video signals + an infinet boot loop. The PC starts up and after about 30secs it just turns off and beginns from the start ( turning on and off after another 30secs) , while in that boot loop we dont have any video signal , just nothing his monitor doenst even turn on in this state ( monitor is defenetly not broken). We even tried resetting the CMOS with the mainbaord pins and with its battery but that changed nothing.

I have no idea what i should do and he hasnt ether. I need your help what can we do?

Try removing one of the sticks, then switching which one is removed and what slot it is in.

Dead/shorting RAM can sometimes prevent booting

Also the slot that is nearest the CPU seems kinda broken , the ram doesn't fit properly in it ether the bottom left or right is not fully in ( this slot was not used at first when PC detected 8gb )

Maybe a pin inside that slot is broken/shorting, and the motherboard is having a seizure and wont boot.

I'd RMA the board if you can

He could RMA it , but it one stick worked at the beginning just fine and when we started switching it all went downhill. So it was working and we haven't lost hope that it still might work somehow. He also really doesn't want to rma it
