1600mhz ddr3 memory running at 1333mhz

I have 3 corsair sticks running at 1333 mhz whilst i have another memory stick that runs at optimal 1600 this underclocks my system and has been a thorn in my side for almost a week now.

in the bios i have enabled xmp and i have manually set the clock speed to 1600 with no succes

Uhm, not even sure that's possible.

 

If even one of the sticks is running at 1333, then all 4 will be running at 1333.

Found some old forum posts from 2011 or earlier describing a similar problem.

Most of them point to faulty readings and all of them suggest updating the bios
