S o I think this all stems from my cpu of choice because it is an engineering sample cpu so yeah. Anyways every time I turn my pc on I cross my fingers to hope that it actually works lately I just can't deal with it and it annoys me. My samsung 950 pro is slow as shit and I don't know why. My processor only has 10 threads when it should have 20. My OS is going to shit. I really don't know what else to say but I want to focus on the cpu and ssd. So the ssd is slow and I don't know why, and the cpu isn't doing hyper threading for some reason. ANy ideas?bandicam 2016-11-21 23-17-21-136.jpg

ur cpu only got 10 threads according to cpu-z so 10threads is normal, the ssdseems normal also  836mb read 740 write isnt bad lol its good for a single drive

1. the cpu is supposed to be hyper threaded.

2. I have heard the most people get around 900 to 1100 MBps read and similar for write so from my research it isn't "normal".

real time performance can vary on ssds like 100-200mb/s depending on how full they are and much more

if the cpu does have hyperthreading and u are 100% sure of it, enable it in the bios it shuold be disabled, if the feature isnt even in the bios then u might need a bios update t o enable the chip to be able to run hyperthreading... as cpu - z says genuine intel cpu ur mobo might not have the required bios to support the cpu , hence why it could have a disabled ht

ah..... although I just updated the bios to work for the e5 26xx v4 cpu so I don't know if that did anything I'll see what else I can do

it could be that the motherboard simply just does not support that chip at all, not all boards support all xeon chips or chips in general, could be u got just that one chip that isnt supported... other then that last hope is bios update / check if ht is enabled, else u might need a diff mobo
