So, I was attempting to export a video file, when all of a sudden, the progress just freezes. I restarted the program (Camtasia Studio 9) and tried, again. This time it froze at 0.1%. I restarted the computer, went into my BIOS and checked the temps for throttling. It was fine, 52 degrees on idle, just after restart. Opened up HWMonitor for temps and Task Manager. When I began the export, the CPU usage was at fine for a second, using around 80% and then dropped back down to 3%. It did not let the program access the CPU power. The CPU wasn't throttling either, a solid 65 degrees on CPU in HWMonitor.

So what's happening? Why can't my video program access the CPU? It's almost as if it is restricting the program. Malware perhaps?

I have a picture.

Hi. Perhaps you could check:

1. Your drivers. If it is GPU accelerated, download latest GPU drivers

2. Dial down your OC and try again. I know it may not be that but its probably better to eliminate variables. Don't forget your RAM OC

3. Try an alternative rendering software or reinstall your current software, if all fails.

I don't have a GPU, other than integrated, which I keep up to date as my PC is only a few weeks old.

I run an i3 6100. No OC, not even XMP on the RAM.

I guess reinstall is my only option.

Does  your system meet the base requirements for the software you are using?
