3DS cartridge to software?

kelvinhall05

Anyone know if there is any way to either transfer physical games (cartridges) to games stored on the system memory/sd card? There is a gamestop near me, but I have a feeling that they would charge extra to exchange my physical games for digital ones.

Quote me to see my reply!

If your 3DS has CFW, there is an option in Decrypt9 to dump your cart to a installer package which you can then install to your 3DS. This would be the same grey area as ripping your own DVDs/BD for personal playback.

Desktop i7-5820K @ 4.7GHz | ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 | 64GB DDR4 Corsair LPX | Titan X (1st Gen) | 256GB 950 Pro SSD + 8TB WD Red HDD | Corsair AX860i | Lian-Li PC-O8 | macOS Sierra + Win10

Audio HD800 + Magni2/Modi2 | Keyboard WhiteFox/ErgoDox | Mouse G502 | HMD HTC Vive

Things I know about: Computer Building, Software Development, Headphones, Mechanical Keyboards, Cosplay, ?

CFW - Custom Firmware, you'd know if you had it installed. This is the guide most people use, it explains the benefits quite clearly.

Decrypt9 is a application you can un if you have CFW, it allows you to do exactly what you're trying to do.
