Status Updates

This is nice for those who use status updates a lot. Though LTT is not a social networking site would be nice if you could get notification like

 

xxx replied to your status update (when you post originally)

xxx replied to a status update (when you reply to someone's status update and get a reply)

 

And also is there a way to unfollow a particular status update? Sometimes you just reply to one status update and get 10 notifications. I know you can turn off the auto follow but what if I want to leave that on and then turn it off manually because not all status update gets carried away

Yes but then you get no status update notifications at all.

 

So it's either get every replay as a notification or get no notification when people replyou to any status.

status updates i think are a joke like a facebook age phenomenon its just crazy. i dont want to know your bowel movements or what you eat or anything what you did but the op wants to from a select few or one not all. i am sure they would do it just like managed content, check mark the ones you want
