Yeah, but he could spend $30-$40 more and get way better performance

And he is only playing Minecraft and some COD games, you can crank does easily on a GTX 980, so most likely you can put those on very high on a 1050ti

Hey guys so I'm back in pc build!ding and I want to build this PC here but I need some help on if it's a good pc. Also how many fps can it get n C's go Minecraft and some cod games. Also what monitor should I get?

It should be able to break 100+  frames in both. I don't know much about those games though. A couple of suggestions:

1. Get a h110, h170, or b150 board instead (Here is a list of all of them, so you can decide which one you want: http://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/overall-list/#s=30&c=112,113,111&f=2&sort=a8&page=1)

2. You don't need 16gb. of RAM. While I would recommend it, for this type of build I would recommend getting 8gb. and spending the rest of the money on an SSD or something. You can always upgrade to 16gb. later.

Thanks!

Also, if I were you I would switch to http://www.corsair.com/en/cx-series-cx430m-modular-atx-power-supply-430-watt-80-plus-bronze-certified-modular-psu if I were you because cable management will be a pain if you don't use modular or at least semi modular.

Yeah then you'll be fine. Don't buy the rx480, a 1050 ti performs just liek a gtx 960 4gb so you should be getting 60fps in games such as GTA V for example.

I said 470, they're only $30-$40 more than the 1050 ti and you get almost double the performance

Yeah but if he doesn't need it. Don't make someone spend more money if they don't need too. The plan is always cheap as possible.

It would be worth it in the long rum, and besides, with the 1050 ti he wouldn't get 1080p 60FPS Ultra in every game, with the 470 he would

This card uses less power at 75watts. And I said it can in most games. Not all but most. Especially for some good old 1080p.

And eventually he probably will buy a 1070, but right now the 1050ti is a great card for the price.
