im planning to get something 3d printed (cause i dont have a 3d printer, plus its a waste of money and time for me to get one).

im not quite sure which material would be the best for the value.

PLA or ABS?

its corvo's folding blade from dishonored (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:446151). yes i know i can buy the parts already printed from that site, but its PLA only, im wondering if ABS would be any better/worth it

Cost wise they aren't that far off from each other the main difference between the materials though is that PLA is a stiff material than ABS which has a bit more flex to it. One important thing to note is that PLA has a much lower melting temp so if you were to put something made of PLA in a car during a hot day it's not uncommon to see sagging or dropping occur where ABS does not. However than lower melting temp with PLA can also help if you don't have a heated bed as it doesn't tend to warp or flex as much as ABS does.
