Logitech G403 user experience?

So first i wanted to pick up a Zowie EC2-A, but quite a few people have said that the scroll wheel on it is very crappy and that you cant disable the LED on it and i really hate LEDs in general. So im thinking about picking up the G403 instead, so im wondering if anyone here have it and what their experiences with it is?

You can't disable the led in EC2-A and that is a shame yes, the color is set to automatic depending on your DPI setting. I haven't read anywhere that it's crappy. It's not the best, but it should be decent. Funny thing, I'm planning on buying either that of the FK2 next month.

If you haven't, you should check the review from Rocket Jump Ninja.

I know early versions of G403 had rattle issues but that should've been fixed by now. All in all seems like a really good mouse.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Yeah did actually check out his reviews, he does a very good job and his hand size is pretty much the same as mine. Im still using a Deathadder 3G V2 that is very old, so im used to shitty mouse wheel and side buttons, but its a real shame you cant disable the led on the Zowie mice, but as you say, probably because its tied to the dpi settings. The only drawback i could find about the G403 is that its a little wide and that the mouse feet are a bit small.

The reason i was gonna get the EC2-A in the first place was because it seems like the Deathadder shape but just a bit smaller, always felt like the Deathadder was a tad too big, but the shape of it is perfect.

G602 is good with no leds and battery life last 3 to 4 months per 2 double AAs

Definitely not a mouse for me :)
