Can't access BIOS

I got a new SSD, put it in the computer and used the Samsung Data Migration to move my C drive (boot drive) data including OS to the new SSD.

 

My computer is still booting from the C drive, I assume I need to change this in the BIOS.

 

However since using the Data Migration tool, when I start my PC I no longer see the GIGABYTE motherboard boot screen that would allow me to access the BIOS. Instead it is just a black screen before Windows loads up and logs me in.

 

Clicking on buttons like del, f11 just makes the screen go grey and fuzzy.

 

Any ideas?

Hmm try pulling the mobo battery out and back in or if it has jumper for reset then reset it with that

Try going to BIOS from within Windows. Go top Settings > Update and Security and follow these images below step by step

Reset cmos, if that doesn't work disconnect the old drive that should cause the new one to boot.

The UEFI button doesn't appear for me.

ahh crap you have the same issue with me. I myself was looking for a fix too as I had UEFI option before, silly Windows uptafe. Try every F button you come up with when booting. Mine was F2.

well I found a workaround to my problem of switching the boot drive - I just switched over the SATA ports on the HDD/SSD. However I still cant access the BIOS. having the same problems as before.
