GPU is giving less performance than it should

Hey,

Last week I bought a brand new Asus ROG gtx 1060 oc and immediately I installed it to my rig. Now that I'm testing some games on, it gaves me a very weak performance.

For example I tested the Unigine Heaven benchmark at High. My Gpu scored just 778 points, but I saw people on the internet and their 1060s scored 1700 points at Ultra.

So now I'm here, what should I do?

whats the temps, and did you overclock it yourself?

No the Gpu is factory oveclocked.

Ohh maybe are the temps the problem, because i just get 683 mhz.

Holy mother of throttling.

Check if the fans work.

I ran a benchamrk again and the graphcs speeds were aroung 2025mhz and the temps were aroung 50°C

Wow. I have same GPU on desk, and i've never heard someone had Asus's lemon, is it? Sorry man no clue

Hey I could fix my GPU.

Norton was using 80% of my SRAM, because of an update.

Now that I cancelled that update the Gpu is running normally.
