Does google home work with these devices?

Does google home work with the chromecast software on the nvidia shield tv and the samsung 4k uhd smart tv? (Just in case it matters or helps) I can cast videos to the smart tv just like if it already had a chromecast dongle in it.

I'm pretty sure any chromecast device can have google home cast to it. I just got a new smart TV and google home and I can cast to it with ease, just tell google to cast to your TV.

 

The problem I'm running into is getting my cast's to go through my HT system, but that's easily fixable with the proper setup.
