Cable Management Pointers?

Go to solution Solved by STRMfrmXMN,

The Tesseract has plenty of cable management. I've built in one. Just loop ALL of your PSU cables through the bottom cable thing. They should be tied together taut.

See how the cables leading from the AX1200 go through that grommet there? That's a great starting point.

I built my new PC on Tuesday, and at the time was too excited to pay attention to cable management, so it was atrocious. What you see now is the effort of an hour and a half to get it cleaned up, but I do believe that it could be better, I just don't know how.

I realize the green ties are atrocious, and those will be changed out later. But any other cable-management tips would be welcome.

Thanks.

I think a modular PSU in the future would help a lot, but I couldn't fit it in the budget currently.

Somewhere down the line I'd recommend a Z170 ATX board and a better case.

What case do you recommend? I tried to put most of my budget towards CPU & GPU so I compromised on some of the other parts, but definitely a future case/PSU/mobo upgrade is in order.

Depends, I'd get a new MOBO first though.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

That is very impressive indeed. I shall do that. Also having a modular power supply and those delicious custom cables will be at the top of my priority list. Thanks.
