i5 vs i7 for VR

so I saw the video made by the arizona sunshine devs saying their game is better if you have an i7, so for VR is a i7 really the preferred CPU to have? over an i5

 

right now VR seems to be limited by GPU, do you think later on youll need an i7 for VR?

 

 

(yes I know just saying i7 and i5 is vague, and yes i know there are i5's better then some i7's etc, this is just for the people who like to argue, im talking about latest gen CPU's, so maxwell to skylake)
