I usually only hear good things about turtle beaches, then again I usually don't hear anything about Turtle Beaches. My friend really likes them and says they're really good, but today some guy told me that he has somehow broken three pairs of them in one year. I decided to go to the community for help since they are always so helpful, thank you for your help.

um i had one when i was younger and it was nice but it broke out of rage preferably i would get a wired turtle beach if you do because wireless can be a pain but it still really nice, if your just looking for a headset without mic and you have a seprate mic i would look into audio technicas

To me, Turtle Beach is a brand that is considered good until you've tried actual good headphones, then it just becomes an overpriced brand with pumped up bass and gaming marketing. I used to own a Turtle Beach headset and had no issues with it for at least a year. In general, I don't hear much about Turtle Beach products breaking, just that they're really not that great in terms of audio quality and are expensive for what they are.

I had a turtle beach that i used for cs:go i thought it worked great, then one day i noticed the right ear cup couldn't put enough pressure on my head to stay there like it should, and within the week the plastic broke on that side.

I had one that was functional but not that comfortable. Also it had an issue I've had with a lot of gaming headsets where the sound from the earphones bleeds into the mic so people over VOIP can hear what you hear. Makes for some pretty nasty echoes.

I'm currently using PX22 which I got in Dec 2015, and they work and it's iffy. Sometimes it staticy and buzzy which i absolute hate, but i can sound-whore sometimes. The durability is questionable, but mine managed to stay aight so i'll give kudos. Honestly I'd just for to Logitech for a cheap price point, they are more stable and well-known compared to Turtlebeach
