i put the total price of all of the corsair fans on one. The molex to pwm fan will work with my mtb. Would recommend if you have those sons of bitches on your power supply, but not enough fan connectors. And yes, I know. I am getting a r9 270x for free

Does that case even support 7 fans?

Edit - after looking, that case only has mounts for 3 fans, even if you were to replace the one on your cpu cooler thats only 4 or 5 used.

The guy I am buying the case from modded it to accept 3 more. The 7th fan will be a secondary fan on the CPU cooler

It's not clear whether or not this is a new or used system, but assuming it's new except the case and that the stuff you have marked as $0.00 is parts you already have ...

Why in the world would you build a new system with an old i5-2500K?! Even an i3-6100 would outperform it.

Whether the case has been modded or not, you really don't need all those extra fans. You're spending over $80 on needless fans (and controller) that could be put towards a better CPU and motherboard.

(If the case comes with no fans, you only need 1 120mm fan at the front or back for a non-overclocked system.)

You also don't need Windows Pro - get Home if it's cheaper.

So, drop the Cryorig cooler, drop the extra fans and controller, and get Win 10 Home. Then get an i3-6100 or i5-6500 and an H110 based motherboard and use the stock cooler that comes with the CPU. That would still perform better than an OC'd i5-2500.

Btw, you didn't mention  RAM. If you have some DDR3 you want to re-use, you could get a Haswell i3/i5 and motherboard instead.

If not, get some DDR4-2133 to go with the Skylake CPU

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

not entirely true... http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-2500K-vs-Intel-Core-i3-6100/619vs3511 but yes i agree, I'm not a fan of buying old gen parts

I chose the i5 because it will come pre-overclocked at 4.2ghz. That, the motherboard, case, ram, gpu, and psu are used. All I want to do is put together a good system. My friend has about the same specs, and I was fine on his PC.

I would love to get newer parts. All I am doing now is setting up a decent system so I can upgrade later.
