Overclock GTX 1060 Boost

If I wanted to overclock my gtx 1060, with an i5 6500, what kind of boost can I expect? Like if I was playing games like Crysis 3, CSGO, Overwatch, Infinite Warfare, Minecraft, Block Ops 3, etc. Also, what kind of things should I do to make sure its safe to overclock a graphics card?

Why are you asking about your 1060 and 6500 when your other thread is on you only having a low spec laptop? 

 

My 1060 OC'd to 2139mhz at stock voltage, but now it's running underclocked because I have a 1280x1024 monitor

I'm saving money right now to build a PC. Right now I'm using a laptop. My brother is also using the gtx 1060, and we both wanted to know.

I wouldn't recommend running it OC'd from the beginning, it seems like you don't have the cash flow to upgrade in 2-3 years. I just OC'd to see what I got and then went back to stock

 

I have a 6600 and a 1060. It's a really good combo. Good luck on your PC!
