Custom PC Build

Hello, Im planning on building my very first PC my budget is around $3000 CAD and I will use it for gaming and editing, so After effects, Sony vegas 13 and also photoshop and I have all the components for this build, I just need to know if I should change anything or just to make sure its all compatible. And also im trying to go for either a red/black or a green/white theme either one works. Im not sure what to do about the premium stock phanteks fans. Should I replace them or keep them?

I will be going wirelessly which is a bummer but Will the Asus Dual-Band Wireless- Ac1900 PCI-E Adapter be a good choice?

your build looks perfectly fine. you might also look into a nas or an internal array of hard disks for mass storage of your projects. the stock case fans are fine and you can leave them in. i would go for the 750w for some growing room to add another 1080 in the future if you decide to. the asus wireless card shouldnt be an issue

Going with an asus mobo is really worth it as u have such a great budget

Asus Maximus VIII Ranger is aprox. of the same cost of  Gigabyte GA-Z170X Ultra Gamin....

Since you will be setting up liquid cooling Overclocking your cpu wont harm its lifetime much...

Maximus series is really great for overclocking and have mordern integrity...

As far as the color scheme and looks its really fabulus and setts up with your R/Bk Theme...

Rest all seems great...

Its entierly up to you :D

although i personally prefer asus boards i think the z170 ultra gaming is positioned above the ranger as it is an entry level board the gigabyte will be a better overclocker even though i use an asus maximus ranger myself.

Do I have to get a specific size for my case or it does not matter

if you are using only one hard disk i would go with a WD black with the size you want. however, i would reccomend doing a raid 1 since you have video and photo work to give u redundancy. if you go with raid, go with either one of these drives

https://www.amazon.com/HGST-Deskstar-3-5-Inch-Internal-0S03664/dp/B00HHAJRU0

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BYLY4DM/ref=twister_B008VQ8IKY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

personally i would go with the hgst as im running a raid 1 of two 6tb drives and have not have them fail yet. they are some of the most reliable drives out there.

the case u chose is fine and i mentioned raid 1 as the evolv atx only has room for 2 hdds and going with redundancy is a great idea so you dont lose your files
