suitable NAS?

I was originally just giving each their own storage, but sharing files was mentioned by my client. Is there an appropriate NAS I can build/buy that would allow constant read/write from 2 computers?
I dont know what benefit you would get with a NAS for just two devices. You would be adding the cost of extra drives and hardware but you won't get better performance than just regular windows folder sharing between 2 computers. You should be getting them a good backup solution. USB backup drives will be more cost effective, practical, and faster than NAS. Plus you can take the USB drives home at the end of the day
