Do you think this deal is legit?

I was surfing through Amazon.ca for hard drive deals, when I came across this. Look at the first deal there. Yes, the one for a 1TB WD Blue for $21.99 + $5 shipping.

 

Amazon is asking $57.99 for the same HDD...looks like I'll be able to get double the storage for around the same price. Should I go for this? Does it seem legit?

That doesn't mean anything, anyone can post something to amazon.

I'd say it's too good to be true, they claim its new for only 21 and 5 shipping. After the seller is new to amazon and it's shipping from china, which is normally a way to avoid returns or used as an excuse for shipping failure.

Definitely NOT legit. Both sellers are just launched [probably the same person who was selling Hyper 212 Evos for $3]

 

However, amazon's policies are good enough that you shouldn't lose money by buying one if you don't get anything

I don't mind waiting around for a while for the product to arrive. After all, if this deal is really as good as it seems, I'll be saving a ton of cash.

What about the second one? The one with "100%" positive reviews, but with only one rating? LOL. Is it worth the risk?

Can't stress enough its NOT legit. Everything on Amazon isn't safe, if it's a third-party seller it's just as unsafe as ebay unless it's amazon prime fulfilled.

Ehh, I wouldn't, people can make it seem it has 1 TB on properties, but in reality its just 16GB, and when you put more than 16GB, it just begins to overwrite and corrupt the files.

Amazon's customer service is second to none in my experience.  I have no issues/worries with Amazon sellers.
