Something was jammed into my Meteor Mic's usb port while I was away and the cable would only go in half way. It now goes in all the way, but is not detected by anything and the light does not glow anymore. My music store said repairs wouldn't be worth it and I might as well buy new. They've sent me the mic and I'm interested to know how I'd be able to fix it. If you've dealt with this before, how would I go about fixing this?

Nothing.

A USB 1-2 port is literally 4 wires or it's soldered to a PCB. Both are relatively easy to fix. The first thing to do would be to take apart the mic and find out what the problem is.

I can't seem to easily see through. How would I go about disassembling it?

Nothing.

Um... take the glaringly obvious screws out and see what comes apart? It's possible they just take the legs off, but I'd start there...

Also looks to be a screw up the... hole... in the bottom.
