I remember Linus doing a G-Sync test sometime ago, but I recall his findings being a "tad" different: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzHxhjcE0eQ

 

this video shows that G-Sync operates quite exemplary, very close to no VSync

 

what he also discovered is limiting the FPS via nVidia Inspector is a really bad idea

 

maybe the author can get it's hands on a FreeSync monitor for a future video

Does limiting ur fps with afterburner/ rivertuner do the same as inspector ?

Just thinking, not all games have a fps limiter built in to them

if you don't have a limited and the FPS goes above the upper limit of the G-Sync monitor, increase the quality settings; otherwise, enable V-Sync
