why that PSU in paticular the fan on it is really small and there are other great psus out there unless you want the short length on it

Why do you need that specific one? If its because another system of yours has that one, it doesnt mean you need to replace it with the exact same. Any other sfx power supply should do.

FSP is a reputable brand, one of the most reliable out there... maybe you need to do some research they make power supplies for a lot of different brands

Pass. The only SFX form factor PSU worth considering these days is the Corsair SF.
