New Alienware 15 R3 AND Dell Xps 13 spotted on Import shipment Data

i would like your opinion about it

New  Intel Processors

 

Alienware 15: I7 7700hq Kaby Lake

Dell XPS 13: Intel Core M 7y75 

Unlike the current XPS 13 with kabylake "U" Series Chips This Xps 13 has the Kabylake "M" series of processors

Are you surprised? It was bound to happen. For Alienware anyway. I just want to see the binning for the 7820HQ.

 

For XPS13, since the Kaby Lake U series have already been released, it would be interesting to see the budget m models for it.

i saw a listing for that on zauba i will post it in a few hours but it was for the Alienware 17

Looks like they may be using the same boards for the XPS 13 that they're using on the Latitude 7370. 

 

I think it's a perfect direction considering a lot of folks will be perfectly content with the new core m's. (for basic tasks, the m7 in my folio has been awesome).

So they are downgrading the XPS13, you can get the XPS 13 with a i7 7500u, while the Latitude version has a core m.

I know that the performance between a core m and a ULV is pretty damn close, but I would rather have the ULV version, unless the core m version is cheaper, even though a core m and a ULV cost the same...
