Hackintosh

*Disclaimer* not sure what subforum this should go under

So I love building PC's but I cannot stand Windows and their forced updates. One day my computer is working fine and dandy, then it updates and crashes after I open any game. I like the Mac operating system better and was wondering if it is still viable to build hackintosh and how to do it(what hardware is supported/how do I even do it). Thank you in advance.

  • Talking about piracy in general, broad details, is acceptable however the posting or discussing pirated/hacked/cracked or otherwise nefariously obtained content is not. This includes Windows content, games, hackintosh, etc. Also discussions regarding ways to avoid or block legitimately installed monitoring/tracking software or the like is also not allowed.

Look towards Linux. Hackintoshes (and talking about other forms of piracy explicitly) is not allowed on the forum.

It's also just a plain pain in the ass to assemble and maintain a Hackintosh compaired to any Linux machine, a real Mac, or an older version of Windows.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

We're not allowed to speak of Hackintosh per CS (I think unless it's a build log). If you would like help, there's another website that can help, but I don't remember the name.
