hey guys i buy cd's for all my music and i convert them at 320kbps into itunes. However when i transfer the music to my htc one it has to convert the files to a format which the htc supports and i think it may be lowering the quality and adding in some static especially in the highs. Could this be possibly or is it me just being paranoid and picky. Btw its not the headphones, i ruled that out. It just seems like its happening on all itunes music.

iTunes rips into an m4a extension. Rip with a third party to MP3, and add that into iTunes

I've used both EAC and dbpoweramp. Currently I use dbpoweramp to rip into raw waveforms, and convert to MP3 320 in xrecode ii

Depends. By default, probably.(Can't remember)(And when downloading things off of iTunes.) But you can set it to convert to different formats like WAV.

Definitely not .wav. iTunes itself won't support it, instead I'm forced to convert those to ALAC.

I've used iTunes to convert MP3 and AAC songs to WAV before. And I've imported CDs using WAV. iTunes supports WAV.
