So I have a droid turbo and for Christmas I will be able to get an s7, pixel, or moto play droid. Was leaning toward the pixel but wanted your guy's opinions, also is using the app night mode ruining my screen, Ithink it turns the brightness if the screen lower than it does in default

I would recommend the Oneplus 3 over the pixel, simply because it's cheaper, but the pixel is a great choice

moto play droid seems like a very low-sales unit, so it proably wont get many software updates, so don't get that one

the s7 is good, I would honestly wait for the s8, because compared to other offerings, the s7 is pretty dang slow. (if you do get the s7, get the edge for the bigger battery)

Well I could only could between those phones because of black Friday deals unless best buy had good ones. Yea pixel seems the best choice.

ye, the pixel seems like the best, but it bafflingly doesn't have waterproofing. if that matters, get the s7, if not, pixel is awesome

No S7 Edge? That's what I'd go for. The Pixel would be a second, with the Moto Play coming up third.

Play gets the best battery life, S7 second, Pixel third.

S7 an Moto have expandable storage. Pixel does not.

All comes down to what you really need.

The Moto should get updates just as fast as the other Moto's. It'll get them before the S7, Samsung is horrible for updates.

The S8 is still many months away.

The S7 isn't slow by any means.

They ran out of time during development to include ingress protection. Expect it on the next iteration.

I just don't know if I can deal with the battery life because they both have about 3/4 the battery of my droid turbo and I am a heavy user so at the end of the day I have to charge it a bit for my midnight youtube session :b

If you're in Canada the S7 Edge gets better battery life than the Droid Turbo overall, and almost twice the video playback time.

I am in the US. IS the battery in Canada bigger or does it use the Exynos CPU and that makes a difference?

We got the Exynos chip.

The US version still gets about 4 hours more when it comes to video playback.

So which phone you think I should get because my dad was gonna take my droid turbo because he has a crappy windows phone and the fast charging is appealing to him, I like motomods so I can't decide, tho hold on I actually never looked up specs of the moto phone...
