new headset or mic?

the mic on my hyper x cloud 2 broke a few days ago, however the headphones still working fine. 

So should i get a desktop mic like those streamers have or a new headset? 

budget around 100 - 150$

i tried a desk mic. it has to be placed so far near my face i got fed up and just bought a headphone with mic
