So right now I know I have crappy internet/router/modem, but I also know that it's enough to work. However, every time I get on my computer it takes like 10 minutes to start working. I know it's not my computer because in august it was working at another house of mine just fine before I moved. I have a 50Mb router/modem thing that comes from bright house that I rent, though I am paying for 100Mb because I plan on upgrading my router soon. The internet connects immediately normally over wifi on my old crappy laptop but some how doesn't want to work really at all on my pc that's connected via Ethernet. The Ethernet cord isn't damaged because when I went to a friends house I used that Ethernet cord and it did fine.

Even after it it starts working its slow and sometimes won't load me into my league games causing me to miss the first few minutes as I reconnect.

if you read through all of that thank you, I made it long so I could get every detail in so you can help me easier.

Maybe the port on the modem?

Or something inside. That would mean that you'll have to change it, I suppose?
