No it's not a bottleneck! I'm using %16 CPU usage, I've literally just stopped using this card 1 week ago, where I had used it for 8 months straight, I had the same problem soon as I first used the GTX 1070, now I've went back to 960 it's doing the same thing ? WHY

First of all, the loads is not important if you have smooth gameplay and all fps needed, so do you actually have hickups in the game? What reso you run?

Would not rule out a bottleneck yet. But first: do you run OC's on your system? Have you checked RAM settings and that it is running on proper speeds and timings? Tried XMP? If you OCed CPU, did you use baseclock besides multiplier? What about OC for GPU? Tried running all stock?

When does this load show? What game? I don't care for total CPU usage, but let taskmanger run (besides your Afterburner or whatever you use to check loads) on logical cores instead and when this issue happens show pics of all monitoring tools...

Somehting to do.

Thanks for responses, I've fixed it. strange enough, I used the GTX 960 drivers for the GTX 1070 and now I'm using 100% GPU Usage on my GTX 1070.

Thats still odd, since the NVidia drivers are shared between several gens of cards. Maybe there was a profile attached?

Anyway, glad it is solved.
