Skydrive seems broken. At least to me it does. They removed the need of a desktop app, but the only way i can get it to sync up is upload the files via SkyDrive metro app. Adding the files to Skydrive from the desktop doesnt do anything, but adding it from the metro app does.

my skydrive is fine and have not noticed the mouse glitch using (Roccat kova+)

One this that i really annoying is that you need a secure boot to be configure and my laptop does not have that in its bios ( even with Custom Bios installed ) so now i have water mark saying that i need to configure secure boot. can be disabled but then most of the Modern Apps don;t work. At lest it is just watermark on desktop not games and stuff :)

Needs Update

GeForce Experience will not work at all. Steam games work all the way up until you hit play in the main menu then crash to desktop. Corsair headset drivers are incompatible. Everything I have tried to reinstall.

I have mouse stuttering like @Coombzy said in games. Other than that my applications have no compatibility problems.

I am looking into win 8.1 for my new system but like any new iteration  of windows it comes down to a reworking of your hardware & software before you can get it to work that's why for right now I am sticking with win 7 until they get it all settled

Every time I install something it says smartscreen isn't working but I can install things anyways, other than that I haven't had any.

That's because you enabled it during the setup of your account. You can turn it off in the Control Panel.

But if you want it, all you have to do, is click on "More details", then you'll see a button "Run anyway", and this will white flag it for you, and will add a vote for it on Microsoft database that it's safe... if many says it's fine, Microsoft will validate it, and if that passes, the message won't show up.

It only shows on non digitally signed programs. Many programs don't do this, as it's thousands of dollars to do.

The biggest problem with my electric car is the fact that it doesn't run on gasoline. Then perhaps you should have bought another car, eh?  ;)

I did buy another car, so to speak.  Except I never bought the first one.

They each have their pros and cons.  :)

Yes, it's just a matter of determining whether the pros outweigh the cons in each individual case.

I tried to install it several times on my new rig and it was terrible..

The first two times when the system rebooted I had to give my password but when I entered it, it wouldn't recognise it

So I reset the computer, the first two times it would just restart windows 8, but when I kept trying to install the update, the system would crash and have problems with restarting afterwards. The last time I tried it took more than half an hour before the system would get past the password screen without crashing.

I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem but it scared the hell out of me so I'll stay with W8
