intel i5 6500

asrock b150 gaming mobo

16 gb (8x2) ddr4 hyperxfury 2133 mhz

sapphire nitro rx480 graphics

 

the problem is

when i connect my single display with hdmi to vga port it works

but when i try to connect my two similar display ( both 1440x900 resolution)

the first display goes black and the second display flickers and the freezes

and the system crashes

any help would be appreciated :)

That doesn't really mean anything in terms of conversion. There's nothing wrong with converting HDMI to VGA.

First try each port in turn to see if they work with single monitor ... Yes you might need different cables.

The try combinations of two ports.  

 

Any testing should always include changing the cables to ensure its not the cable at fault.
