I recently baught some computer parts and made my own computer. When i first built it,it would freeze and stay like this until i powered it off with the button, the hard drive led was also off during the freeze period.I defragged the disk and it was running fine for quite a while, but after some time, while playing games like LoL and CS:GO the computer would freeze again.Sometimes it froze for 5 seconds and the screen signal turned off and on and it would work fine, sometimes it would freeze completely and i would have to restart it with the button.I ve been also getting some blue screens,ntoskrnl.exe,dxgmms2.sys,watchdog.sys,atikmdag.sys,dxgkrnl.sys while playing Hearthstone or just watching a youtube video.I have defragged the disk numerous times, ive done the sfc /scannow,the memtest86,i ve run benchmarks for both cpu and gpu and they were working perfectly, temps are always below 65,i ve wiped and reinstalled my gpu drivers.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank you

if you installed win7/8 and upgraded to 10 upgrading caused a similar issue on my computer, old OS files stuck in core stuff borked things out. Clean install fixed it. Otherwise if you've done any registry tweaks it could be that as well. bad overclock also sounds possible

UPDATE:I turned off the cpu thermal throttling of the mobo and i tried to play some CS:GO

First two games were running fine,no lags or freezes.During the third game my screen blacked out and after a minute it blacked out again and my ping went to 1000.After that it was running fine.I also upped the cpu voltage to 1.3

Are you getting notified that a GPU driver has crashed?

It's not a race to the bottom.

I once had this.

I RMA'ed the GPU and the problem was solved.

So try another GPU if possible.

It's not a race to the bottom.
