GTA V PC Activation code troubles

Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to what I can do about my GTA V activation code not working. I used a cd key to get the GTA V launcher and when prompted to type in the activation code provided to me, it says "Activation code already in use." I've contacted Rockstar Support already but I wanted to get any other suggestions that anyone has. Should I just wait until Rockstar can solve the issue? (No counting on when they'll respond)

Where did you get the CD Key from?

did you buy a steam code or rockstar code?

If you have bought the key and have receipt for it, wait for their respond. If you have used shady store like G2A, contact them.
