4K?

I currently have an I7 6700K with a GTX 1070 and 8gb of DDR4 2300. I'm wondering if my rig is capable of running 4k. Or wether I need to upgrade to run most games smoothly.

You can, just turn down the settings

it will be OK in 4k. You may have to lower settings here or there but itll still be decent.

What would I need to run around max?

A Titan XP if you want something above 30FPS all the time.

At 60 FPS? Atleast a Titan XP or 2 1080's.
