So i've been thinking about getting a GTX 1060 6GB and just need to know whether my parts will bottleneck the 1060 and if my PSU will supply enough power and safely.

Specs:

- Asus GTX 960 4GB

-8GB RAM

- Intel i-5 6600 3.30 GHz

-Corsair VS550 PSU

Also, if anyone knows a good place I can sell my 960 and how much it would go for? (AUD)

No bottleneck, PSU should be fine.

No man i would not bottleneck it at all, but if you want to game at 1440p i would suggest a 16Gb Ram (The same ones), along with a SSD, if you dont already have one.

But i wouldnt personally go from 960 to 1060, i mean its one hell of an upgrade but not that much in my opinion, think about it and i hope i helped.

Seeing as I won't be gaming at 1440p and the 1070 is 300 dollars more, what should I do?

y the ssd for 1440p? storige does not improve performance at all! only loading times. and he does not mention 1440p at all at any moment so i take it he just plays 1080p and so a 1060 will be perfact

get the 1060 its awesome for 1080p! most games will run ult 60fps and some even above 100!

probably not, but if you have some extra money you should consider buying an extra 8 gig ram if possible, because games like the witcher 3 are using more than 10 gigs of ram
