Which GTX 1070 To Buy??

KSP

Hello guys. Im planning a new build with a 6700K and a GTX 1070 later this year. I plan to build this build all in the popular Phanteks Evolve ATX Tempered Glass. My question is, which GTX 1070 should I buy? I was planning on using the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW EDITION GAMING ACX 3.0 card, but that has some kind of fire issues now. Does anyone know if EVGA's new cards have the recommended thermal pads already in them? If not, what other card should I get? I was debating the Founders Edition, but I would rather wait to see the situation on the EVGA cards. My theme for the build is Black with silver and white accents. Thanks for any info.

evga stated that they made changes to the production so all 1070 and 1080s include thermal pads now but why bother? get zotac, msi armor or asus strix, DO NOT GET the founders edition, it is a waste of money..

I heard that EVGA nowadays is the better brand to get for graphics cards, with their great customer service. Zotacs look pretty good overall, but I'm not a fan of the back plate :PxD
